My third day at Hyderabad also began with the same drill of me revelling in a delicious buffet breakfast, after which I got dressed and stepped out to explore Necklace Road. Necklace road happens to be one of Hyderabad’s most iconic tourist spots that overlooks a glorious Buddha statue situated in the middle of the Hussain Sagar lake.
I headed for lunch to The Waterfront, a must-visit restaurant with a breathtaking view of the lake and not to forget, delectable food. I spent a good number of hours soaking in the ambience, enjoying the food and clicking some stunning shots around the restaurant, after which I headed to Shilparamam, situated at Hitech city, for shopping. Shilparamam, is a cultural village of the city that houses handicrafts, weaves, jewellery, pottery and much more from artisans across various parts of India. To me it felt like I had entered a creative heaven. I did some shopping there and headed back to The Park where a wonderful dinner had been organised at Aqua, by the poolside. Simultaneously a live band was crooning some mellifluous melodies making the evening nothing short of perfect. I walked back to my room extremely contented and called it a night.
Since this was my last day in Hyderabad, I decided to keep it relaxed and uneventful. I wanted to unwind and enjoy my time at the hotel. After having my breakfast at Verandah, I decided to head to Aqua and shoot some pictures by the poolside.
Reminiscing over the last couple of days I spent in Hyderabad, I smiled to myself thinking what a wonderful experience it had been and that I couldn’t wait for the next time I’d visit this brilliant city. I packed my bags, said goodbye to the wonderful staff that took such good care of me, at The Park and headed to the airport, bidding Hyderabad goodbye.
I’d love to know what you thought of this post and would love to hear your experiences in Hyderabad, if you’ve visited the city. If you’d like me to visit your city next, do let me know in the comments section below.
Until next time,
